Letter from the Prelate (20 October 2020)

Monsignor Ocáriz assures us that he is praying for us and close to us during the pandemic, and says that he will soon send a longer letter.

My dear children: may Jesus watch over my daughters and sons for me!

I am sending you a few lines to assure you of my prayer and closeness, especially to those of you who continue suffering more directly from the pandemic and its various consequences, which are worsening now in many places. My prayer, like yours, is also keeping very much in mind, along with so many good things, all the suffering in the world today: sickness, unemployment, privation of legitimate freedoms, hunger, and ignorance of the love of God revealed in Christ.

I’ll stop here. Soon I will send you a long letter, dated the 28th of this month, about the characteristics of our dedication in the Work in accord with one’s distinct personal circumstances. All of us have the same identical vocation: the same spirit, the same apostolic mission, the same spiritual means and means of formation.

Your Father blesses you with all his affection,
