To commemorate the centenary of St. Josemaría's ordination, a video on his priestly vocation was shown in Zaragoza and Rome. It includes fragments of get togethers in which he shared advice with priests, inspiring them to live a holy and fruitful ministry.

To commemorate the hundredth anniversary of Saint Josemaría Escrivá’s ordination to the priesthood, the city of Zaragoza hosted a series of events from 27 to 30 March. These included academic gatherings, liturgical celebrations, and festive family meetings. Similar events took place in Rome and Logroño, locations that played a significant role in the founder of Opus Dei’s life and childhood.

March 28, 1925, marked the day Saint Josemaría became a priest. Fifty years later, on June 26, 1975, he completed his earthly journey. To celebrate this period, we invite you to take part in the Saint Josemaría Challenge.

28 March 2025 marks the hundredth anniversary of St. Josemaría’s ordination to the priesthood. Liturgical and academic events have been organized in Zaragoza, Perdiguera, and Rome. We also share a commemorative card, available to download in several languages.

The Catholic prayer app Hallow launches its Lent challenge on Wednesday. This year, it is inspired by the founder of Opus Dei's “The Way.” The global challenge will be guided by well-known figures from around the world.

In this video, St. Josemaría encourages us to live for love every day: “Don’t be ashamed to be a poor, flawed vessel. We will fight all our lives to correct our flaws, right to the end... This is love.”
