28 August: Saint Augustine of Hippo
Saint Augustine of Hippo (354-430) was born in Tagaste, in northern Africa. Called the “Doctor of Grace,” he is one of the greatest Christian thinkers in the history of the Church. His feast day is celebrated on August 28.
