Among them was Guadalupe Ortiz de Landázuri, who owed her name to this Marian apparition, whose feast day coincided with the day of her birth.

A Doctor in Chemistry, she discovered the adventure of the Christian life, and helped many others to do the same, through her work, and with faith and optimism.

Guadalupe Ortiz de Landazuri was born in Madrid, on the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 12 December 1916, and died in Pamplona on 16 July 1975. She was beatified on 18 May 2019, in Madrid.
