Some practical ideas, inspired by St. Josemaría's teachings, to make this Jubilee a turning point in the participants' lives.

Saint John Paul II convoked the first Jubilee of Youth in 2000. It was the central event of the Great Jubilee of the Catholic Church, marking the 15th World Youth Day and bringing together more than two million young people from around the world.

Our work, besides cooperating in the divine plan of creation, can also share in the work of redemption; it becomes a means of sanctification and transformation of the world when carried out, in Christ, with charity and a priestly soul.

“The Gospel shows us Mary Magdalene as a woman who loved greatly and who wanted to love ever more deeply,” Bishop Javier Echevarría wrote of this great saint.

The 2025 Jubilee is an invitation to open the windows of the soul to hope, forgiveness, and the future, under the motto “Pilgrims of Hope.” It’s not just for those traveling to Rome: all of us can live this “spiritual reset” by praying, forgiving, and sharing what we have received.

What if the real revolution starts in something invisible? The Beatitudes are eight ways of living that go against the current, but connect you with what’s most authentic in you: your capacity to love, endure, forgive, and build hope. They point to a kind of happiness that doesn’t depend on what you have, but on who you are.

Blessed Guadalupe Ortiz de Landázuri passed away fifty years ago, on 16 July 1975. On the anniversary of her death, we remember her life, which was full of adventure and service to others. Guadalupe was a woman who allowed herself to be surprised by God and responded with a joyful vocation, reflecting the greatness of God’s love.
