This is Iago’s story: a child born without eyes and with a severe hearing impairment, who passed away three years ago. But it is also his parents’ story: Javier and Elia fought for his life and happiness from the very beginning, facing countless challenges with inexplicable joy. Their son changed their lives.

In May this year, I got to know of the plight of my cousin upon her and her husband losing their jobs. I proposed to my cousin the Novena for work through St Josemaria to which she faithfully agreed and prayed with me.

From her childhood in Curitiba to her commitment to Opus Dei, Ana Cecília has travelled a path of self-discovery. Through medicine and her relationship with God, she found her purpose: to transform lives and fulfil her dream of motherhood by serving others.

Rodrigo and Mariana reflect on the everyday challenges every couple faces. Their faith leads them to see marriage not only as an earthly commitment, but as a vocation that leads them closer to Heaven.

I am Eva Burniol, from the Horta neighbourhood in Barcelona, and I am an assistant numerary. I am 34 years old, and I love the mountains, going for runs... It helps me unwind, it relaxes me...
