On 24 January, we celebrate our Lady of Peace. Download the image in HD or as a desktop or phone wallpaper. "Our Lady of Peace" is the Marian invocation to which the prelatic church of Opus Dei in Rome is dedicated, and it is the place where St. Josemaría Escrivá's mortal remains repose.

On 2 October 1928, St. Josemaría Escrivá saw what God was asking of him: to remind women and men that holiness is possible in the middle of ordinary life. That message continues to “light up the pathways of the earth” nearly a century later.

On 14 February, St Josemaría understood that God was also calling women and priests to be and to do Opus Dei. Some resources to celebrate the double anniversary of the foundation of the women's branch of Opus Dei (14 February 1930) and the Priestly Society of the Holy Cross (14 February 1943).

On 6 October 2002, John Paul II canonized the founder of Opus Dei, who he called the "saint of ordinary life."
