On January 27, Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz, Prelate of Opus Dei, made a solemn entrance in the prelatic church of Our Lady of Peace. Here is a translation of his homily at the Mass.

Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz was born in Paris on October 27, 1944, in a Spanish family exiled in France due to the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). He was elected and confirmed by Pope Francis as Prelate of Opus Dei on January 23, 2017.

Yesterday at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, the new Prelate of Opus Dei, Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz, answered questions from journalists about the challenges the Church faces and the upcoming General Congress of Opus Dei.
