Mian Añover and her husband started a social project for children and mothers in San Pedro, Laguna (Philippines) after attending the canonization of St. Josemaria in Rome in October 2002.

Most Rev. Florentino Cinense, the bishop of Tarlac (Philippines), established the parish of Saint Josemaria Escriva in Gerona, Tarlac on February 24, 2003.
