Take some time to stop and think, to be alone with Jesus, to look at your life a little more honestly. Before you begin, try to really take care of this period of prayer: set your phone aside or turn off your notifications, grab a notebook, and place yourself in God’s presence.

There are no easy answers when the Holy Family arrives in Bethlehem, and they cannot find a place to stay. But everything changes when Jesus is born in a stable. The journey ends, and the time for adoration begins.

The Holy Family is on the final stretch of the journey, ascending towards Jerusalem. Exhausted, uncertain, and nearly at their destination, Joseph faces a decisive question: how can he respond to what God is asking of him?

This is the most difficult part of the journey. Fatigue starts to set in. Torn between his natural exhaustion and the hope that sustains him, Joseph turns to Mary to understand what God wants from them now.

Joseph is getting ready to leave Nazareth with Mary, who is going to give birth any day now. The Roman census forces them to embark on a long and risky trip to Bethlehem, but Joseph trusts that God will not abandon them.
