Opus Dei

Msgr. Fernando Ocáriz spent a few days in Indonesia before travelling to Australia at the beginning of August. Here is a written summary of the trip, together with a video and photo gallery.

The Prelate of Opus Dei visited Sydney, Australia from August 13 to 15, 2023. He met young men and women at Warrane College and Creston College.

From August 8 to August 26, Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz will be making a pastoral visit to Australia and New Zealand.

The Prelate of Opus Dei had a one-hour gathering with families, members of Opus Dei and their friends at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena on Sunday, 30 July 2023.

From 4 to 8 May, Msgr. Fernando Ocáriz greeted, visited, and encouraged several thousand people in Seville, Spain. In different gatherings, he addressed the concerns of the people before him, directing them toward God's love and deep personal friendship, which heals hearts one at a time and fosters the Church's growth in charity.

Nearly three thousand university students from all over the world travelled to the Eternal City to experience Holy Week in Rome. Over the course of the week, Msgr. Fernando Ocáriz held various gatherings with young people, talking to them and sharing experiences of faith and friendship.

On 12 December 2016, Bishop Javier Echevarría, prelate of Opus Dei for 22 years (from 1994 to the day of his death), passed away in Rome. On this anniversary, here is a brief reflection from Msgr. Iñaki Celaya.
