Opus Dei

As a token of gratitude, I would like to briefly relate some of the favours that have been granted to me through the intercession of Blessed Alvaro del Portillo in recent years.

Last night God put in my heart an urgency to write this letter and that is why I got up early today, and here I am writing it. It all started with my son: he had acute asthma and was not responding to any treatment.

Life is a gift that comes through the love of parents. But that gift requires efforts, often unexpected and even heroic. Sometimes even the life of the mother and the child on the way hang by a thread.

A friend’s son-in-law came down with what seemed to be a very strong flu and was taken to the hospital. I began praying a novena to Laura and Eduardo Ortiz de Landazuri and didn’t stop praying until he got better.
