RE: NATIONAL CONSECRATION TO THE DIVINE MERCY
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines requested us to send to our parishes and communities the English and Tagalog versions of the National Consecration to the Divine Mercy.
The said prayer will be recited in place of the Prayer of the Faithful during all Masses on Divine Mercy Sunday, 11 April 2026 evening, and the whole day of 12 April 2026.
His Excellency Most Reverend Gilbert A. Garcera, CBCP President, explained that “in the face of our current national and global crises, this renewal of consecration would be a beautiful and fitting response of hope in the Lord’s Mercy. This nationwide consecration will be a profound expression of our trust in the Divine Mercy—a trust that remains our final refuge in these times of uncertainty and trial.”
“It is only by trusting in Divine Mercy,” he said, “that we can hope to be saved.” He quoted the words of the Lord to St. Faustina, “I desire that My mercy be worshiped, and I am giving mankind the last hope of salvation, that is, recourse to My mercy” (Diary, 998).

NATIONAL CONSECRATION TO THE DIVINE MERCY
(To be prayed in all Masses on the Second Sunday of Easter, in place of the General Intercessions)
Most Merciful Jesus,
You are the Face of the Father’s Mercy.
Out of mercy you have called us.
To be merciful like the Father
is the mission you have entrusted to us.
With complete trust and
confidence in your boundless ocean of love,
we consecrate ourselves entirely to you
and place ourselves
under the protection of your merciful care.
We unite ourselves to your perfect offering,
with the Holy Spirit, to the Father,
that we may be completely transformed into Your Mercy.
Have mercy on us
for the wars among nations
and terrors with which we harass one another.
Have mercy on us
for the widespread sins against truth
and gruesome sins
against justice and human brotherhood.
Have mercy on us
for the blasphemies to which Your Divine Mercy is subjected to
and the abominable mockery of the weak and the poor.
Have mercy on us for
the abuses against human dignity,
sins against life, love and family.
Help us, O Lord,
that we may reflect Your Mercy to those around us.
Guard us as your possession,
that in difficult moments we may not despair,
but with great confidence
submit ourselves to your holy will.
Make us instruments of consolation to others
who have lost hope and do not trust in Your Mercy.
May all people come to know Your unfathomable mercy,
trust in your mercy and glorify Your Mercy forever and ever.
Jesus, King of Mercy,
we trust in You.
We are all yours.

PAGTALAGA NG BUONG BANSA SA MABATHALANG AWA
(Dasalin sa lahat ng Misa tuwing Ikalawang Linggo ng Pasko ng Muling Pagkabuhay, kapalit ng Panalangin ng Bayan)
Kabanal-banalang Maawaing Hesus,
Ikaw ang Mukha ng Awa ng Ama.
Mula sa Awa ay tinawag Mo kami.
Na maging maawain tulad ng Ama
misyong ipinagkatiwala Mo sa amin.
Sa ganap na pagtitiwala at
sa Iyong walang hanggang karagatan ng pag-ibig,
itinatalaga namin ang aming sarili sa Iyo
at inilalagak ang aming sarili
ilalim ng pag-iingat ng Iyong maawaing pagkalinga.
Ipinagkakaisa namin ang aming sarili
sa Iyong ganap na pag-aalay,
ng Espiritu Santo, patungo sa Ama,
kami ay ganap na mapanibago sa Iyong Awa.
Maawa Ka sa amin
sa digmaan ng mga bansa
at sa mga pananakot na gumugulo sa bawat isa sa amin.
Maawa Ka sa amin
sa malawakang pagkakasala laban sa katotohanan
at sa mga karumal-dumal na kasalanan
laban sa katarungan at pagkakapatiran ng sangkatauhan.
Maawa Ka sa amin
sa mga kalapastanganang ginawa laban sa Iyong
Mabathalang Awa
at sa kasuklam-suklam na panlilibak sa mahihina at mahihirap.
Maawa Ka sa amin
sa mga pang-aabuso sa dangal ng tao,
mga kasalanan laban sa buhay, pag-ibig, at pamilya.
Tulungan Mo kami, O Panginoon,
na maipamalas namin ang Iyong Awa sa aming kapwa.
Ingatan Mo kami bilang Iyo,
nang sa oras ng pagsubok ay ‘di kami mawalan ng pag-asa,
kundi may lubos na pagtitiwala
ay magpasakop kami sa Iyong Banal na Kalooban.
Gawin Mo kaming kasangkapan ng kaaliwan sa iba,
lalo na sa mga nawalan na ng pag-asa
at hindi na nagtitiwala sa Iyong Awa.
Nawa’y makilala ng lahat ng tao
ang Iyong hindi masukat na Awa,
magtiwala sa Iyong Awa, at luwalhatiin ang Iyong Awa
magpasawalang hanggan.
Jesus, Hari ng Awa,
kami’y nananalig sa Iyo.
Kami’y Iyo nang lubos.
Amen.
