10 December is the feast of Our Lady of Loreto, established by Pope Francis. Saint Josemaría considered himself especially indebted to Our Lady of Loreto for a very serious need that he placed under Our Lady's mantle on 15 August 1951.

On April 27th, 1954, feast of Our Lady of Montserrat, after a severe allergic reaction to insulin, Saint Josemaria was cured inexplicably (according to medical opinion) of the diabetes he had suffered from for years.

September 15th is the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, when following an ancient tradition in the Church we venerate the "seven sorrows of Our Lady." Perfectly united to her Son's sacrifice on the Cross, Mary lovingly shares in Jesus' self-giving for our redemption.
