It is with great joy that I share my story with you. We got to know about St Josemaria through a friend who lent us his book 'Friends of God' a few years back. We used to read the book together with my husband and we fell in love with this saint and his teachings. Then we researched more about him and learnt more about his teachings. It happened that last year (2015) I lost my job. Even though it was a tragedy to my family I was never hopeless. The more I read from St Josemaria's websites the more my faith was strengthened. Then one day I came across Novena for work in one of the testimonies' section. My husband and I prayed two rounds of novena. We visited Italy in December and visited the prelatic church of Opus Dei and had the opportunity to pray before the tomb of St Josemaria and Bl Alvaro. In January this year my husband bumped into an old friend whom he had not seen nor spoken to for about 5 years. Their conversation led to the knowledge that there was one organization (in my field) which was recruiting. I quickly sent my CV and was invited for an interview within two weeks. On 31 January the organization called me and told me the good news that they are offering me the job. I am so thankful for St Josemaria's and Bl Alvaro's intercession. I continue to ask always that I do the work to the best of my abilities for the greater glory of God.
