For my grandchildren and great-grandchildren, I usually give them a scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel at the moment of baptism. My granddaughter, Monica, is not married and ever since she became pregnant with my grandson, I began praying through Guadalupe's intercession that they would decide to baptize the baby.

My dream became a reality: they baptized my grandson two months after he was born and they also gave him the scapular. Now I am praying to Guadalupe that my granddaughter decides to get married.

The contributions for a beatification and canonization cause help to cover the costs involved in making the Servant of God, Blessed or Saint more widely known, the diocesan investigation, the Roman phase and, finally, the ceremony of beatification and canonization, in accordance with the norms approved by Pope Francis on 7 March 2016. When the ceremony of canonization has taken place, the donations are destined to the spreading of the message of the new saint.
