Opus Dei

Let us pray for religious sisters and consecrated women, thanking them for their mission and their courage; may they continue to find new responses to the challenges of our times.

The following spiritual retreats have been organised at the various venues listed below in 2022.

Back in 2018, we came across the story by Rev. Charles Muturi, an Anglican bishop in Kenya, who spoke of a real "miracle" he received through the intercession of St. Josemaria. We republish his story here at the end of the Octave of prayer for Chrisitan Unity.

Let us pray for all those suffering from religious discrimination and persecution; may their own rights and dignity be recognized, which originate from being brothers and sisters in the human family.

Silvano Borruso was one of the first members of Opus Dei that St. Josemaria sent to begin the Work in Kenya. He arrived in September of 1960 and passed away on Saturday 1st January 2022 after a long illness.
