I recently received a favor from Don Alvaro. I am a land surveyor by profession and I do my own private jobs – “freelancing’ is what it is called nowadays.

I was recently informed by my boss that I would be required to travel to South Africa on 26th October for a critical company meeting.

My sister was given an ultimatum at her workplace informing her that due to the current restructuring, she was about to lose her job.

One Saturday morning, I went to deposit some cheques from my office to the bank. As is the case with cheques for most corporate bank accounts, the mandate for signing them is usually more than one person.

My father, who is quite elderly, fell sick of malaria and pneumonia just a week before I needed to travel to Madrid to witness the Beatification ceremony of don Alvaro

After the excitement of the Beatification we were at the airport coming back to our country.

I have been praying through blessed bishop Alvaro. He has done so many favors for me and my family.

It was around mid-July 2014 when I was at the lowest ebb of my life.
