St Josemaria's first trip to Latin America was in May 1970. Guadalupe is not only a shrine visited by nearly thirty million people every year; it embodies the faith of the whole country in union with their ‘Virgen Morena’, the brown-skinned Virgin.

The Feast of the Blessed Trinity is on the first Sunday after Pentecost. St Josemaria teaches us to praise the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit: "Learn to have a special devotion to the Blessed Trinity..."

"And he took bread, and when he had given thanks he broke it and gave it to them, saying, 'This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.' And likewise the cup after supper, saying, 'This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.'" (Lk 22:19-20)
