The Style and Fashion Forum 2016

The Style Tribe is an initiative aimed at strengthening knowledge and skills in fashion in Kenya. They have organised The Style and Fashion Forum 2016 that will run from the 12th – 15th of October 2016. The Fashion Forum aims at creating awareness and developing skills in fashion, relevant to today’s woman and is offering four different seminars.

Germans, Spaniards and Ugandans build a school in Gomba, Uganda

Since 1996 on an almost yearly basis, Bugala, an Opus Dei centre in Kampala, has organized work camps in different villages in Uganda. The camps usually fall in the summer months of July and August. This year, a group of Germans, Spaniards and Ugandans completed Phase 2 of St. Mary's Primary School.

Homecoming Mass of Fr. James Mwaura

A chilly, overcast morning at St Peter’s Church, Kinoo, a bustling suburb of Nairobi, just off the main Nakuru Highway, made warmer by the animated, expectant crowd gathering to witness the first solemn Mass of Father James Mwaura in his home parish. Made warm too by the friendly welcome of the parishioners, excited at this the first Mass of their first local boy to be ordained.

3rd Meeting of African Catholic Families at Torreciudad Shrine

Torreciudad is the name of a Marian shrine in Aragon, Spain, built by St. Josemaría Escrivá, the founder of Opus Dei, and consecrated on July 7, 1975, under the title of Our Lady of Torreciudad. Spiritual activities at the Shrine are entrusted to the Opus Dei Prelature. The shrine is open every day of the year.
