A group of 10 young women from Singapore dedicated part of last summer to meeting the pressing needs of young people in Vietnam.

From Wednesday the 3rd of October until Sunday 28th, 260 bishops and 36 youth are meeting in Rome to discuss and advise the Pope on how the Church can better minister to the youth, particularly in matters of faith and vocational discernment. Here's a short explanatory video on what a synod is.

The Vicar General of Opus Dei, Monsignor Mariano Fazio, who is taking part in the Synod of Bishops for young people, spoke with Vatican News about his impressions.
