Donations made on the occasion of Guadalupe's beatification will provide scholarships to help 100 African women carry out scientific research and further their studies.

“Letters to a Saint” offers an English translation of letters written by Guadalupe to Saint Josemaría. The founder of Opus Dei kept these letters among his personal correspondence, and they are now found in the General Archive of the Prelature.

Tomas and Paquita Alvira, whose cause of canonization has been opened, gave effective example of what it means to "educate in unity of life," in accord with Saint Josemaria's teaching.

Guadalupe's second "formula" for holiness is about facing life's difficulties in a way that leads to being closer to God.

On a few occasions, the founder of Opus Dei personally wrote to Guadalupe Ortiz de Landázuri, showing his closeness and fatherly concern for her well-being.

Born in Madrid, Guadalupe Ortiz de Landázuri met Saint Josemaria in 1944 and decided to dedicate her life to finding God in her professional work and spreading the message of the universal call to holiness. With initiative and trust in God, she helped many people find joy through her sincere friendship as well as through her work teaching chemistry and taking care of centers of Christian formation.
