In his 27 December general audience, Pope Francis began a new catechetical cycle on vices and virtues, speaking about safeguarding the heart.

The Apostolic Penitentiary of the Holy See has communicated that the indulgences, which members of the Work and their relatives can gain on these dates, are granted in perpetuity. Until now, they were renewed every seven years.
