Bishop Javier Echevarría, Prelate of Opus Dei, encourages university students from all over the world attending the 2016 UNIV Congress in Rome during Holy Week to strive to stay close to Christ each day and to share their faith with those around them, and to pray especially for the Pope.

Strathmore University has been working with Naivasha Maximum Prison since 2002 under the Strathmore Prison Education Program. Over the years, Strathmore students and staff have visited the prison to donate learning materials and interact with the prisoners through several platforms like the annual football tournament. Strathmore Community Service Centre also sponsors inmates to pursue accountancy courses.

In my work, we make an order for fruit two days a week. Normally the fruit arrives on Fridays at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. But something unexpected ​came up earlier that week and we ended up being without fruit, and needing to prepare food for 50 people.
