Online classes: an opportunity to grow in devotion to Don Alvaro

Thinking about several sick relatives and friends, I decided to begin a series of novenas asking for their health. The first novena was for the mother of a friend of mine.

In his 20 October general audience, Pope Francis continued his catechesis on Saint Paul's Letter to the Galatians, speaking about the freedom of Christians.

Last night God put in my heart an urgency to write this letter and that is why I got up early today, and here I am writing it. It all started with my son: he had acute asthma and was not responding to any treatment.

My situation at work was not easy. On one occasion, I needed a raise; on another, I needed to change location in order to continue with my studies.

Life is a gift that comes through the love of parents. But that gift requires efforts, often unexpected and even heroic. Sometimes even the life of the mother and the child on the way hang by a thread.

Here is the intention from 2 October 2021 to 2 October 2022, which the Prelate is suggesting to the faithful and friends of Opus Dei.
