New Issue of “Romana”

Number 76 of “Romana,” the bulletin of the Prelature of Opus Dei, is now available online in English with news about the first half of 2023.

Number 76 of Romana is now available in English at its official website romana.org. It contains articles and information corresponding to the first half of 2023, as well as a brief editorial: “United Around a Gift.”

In the “Holy See” section, two homilies of the Pope and a Letter to Bishops from the General Secretariat of the Synod of Bishops are reproduced.

"The Prelate” section has information about the Prelate’s pastoral trips to Seville and Valencia, as well as his 16 February 2023 pastoral letter on fraternity. This section also offers, among a number of other interesting items, the complete text of two of the Prelate’s meditations given in Rome, on January 9, 2023 and February 14, 2023 respectively.

“About Saint Josemaría” includes information about the dedication of a church in Poland to Saint Josemaria, and a new painting of the saint in a church in Balaguer (Spain), among other items.

The “News” section has some financial data about the Prelature for 2022 as well as news about an event honoring Venerable Isidoro Zorzano in Malaga.

The main article in the “Initiatives” section is entitled “Midwife Training to Reduce Infant Mortality in Congo.”

Finally, the Study that closes this issue of Romana, written by Professor Carla Rossi Espagnet, from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, has the title “Specific Features of Marital Spirituality.”
