APOSTOLIC PENITENTIARY

Prot. 682/07/1

Most Holy Father:

Javier Echevarría Rodriguez, Prelate of the Personal Prelature of the Holy Cross and Opus Dei, with due obedience and filial veneration for His Holiness, humbly requests that His Holiness grant the following indulgences:

I. For those who take part in the liturgical celebrations that the Prelature of the Holy Cross and Opus Dei and the Priestly Society of the Holy Cross ordinarily organizes for the spiritual good of the families of the faithful and members, during the Triduum before the solemnity of the Birth of our Lord and for the Easter Triduum:

a. Plenary indulgence, when, fulfilling the usual conditions (Sacramental Confession, Eucharistic Communion and prayer for the intentions of the Roman Pontiff) and with a spirit of true penance, they take part in all the celebrations of the Triduum;

b. Partial indulgence, when, on some of the days of the Triduum, they penitently participate in the sacred services.

II. For parents, brothers and sisters of the faithful of the Prelature and of the members of the Priestly Society, as well as for the spouses and sons and daughters of the Supernumerary faithful: Plenary indulgence, when, fulfilling the usual conditions, and with a spirit of true penance, they participate in a sacred service on the feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

And God, etc.
