Opus Dei

Opus Dei was founded in 1928 in Spain and is currently established in 66 countries.

In 1975, Alvaro del Portillo succeeded St. Josemaría Escrivá as head of Opus Dei, carrying on his work with fidelity and dedication.

On July 5, 2013, Pope Francis signed the decree recognizing the miracle attributed to the intercession of Alvaro del Portillo, which opens the way to his beatification.

Isidoro Zorzano was born in Buenos Aires on September 13, 1902. He died with a reputation for holiness on July 15, 1943.

Montse Grases was a girl who sensed God's call right from her youth, to serve Him in ordinary life. She spread to her friends and relatives the peace that comes from being close to God, while bearing a painful illness that eventually led to her death.

Project Harambee 2002 is an effort to raise funds for educational programs in Africa from people attending the canonization of Saint Josemaria and from anyone else who wants to help.
