Saint Raphael Meditation: You are a Child of God
A meditation (guided prayer) on our identity as children of God.
What is the Angelus and how do you pray it?
The Angelus is a prayer in which we contemplate the mystery of the Incarnation, the event by which "the Son of God became man in order to make us God." It is a short pause in our day-to-day activity, immersing us in the intimacy of our Lady and the Blessed Trinity.
"If I were to relive my life, I would do exactly what I did."
Silvano Borruso was one of the first members of Opus Dei that St. Josemaria sent to begin the Work in Kenya. He arrived in September of 1960 and passed away on Saturday 1st January 2022 after a long illness. This is an abridged interview from Strathmore School on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the beginning of Opus Dei.
January Recollection Kit
A recollection is a “mini-retreat,” a few hours of quiet prayer when we look at our lives in God's presence. As we continue to face a global pandemic, this guide can help us spend an hour or two in loving conversation with God, right where we are.
Every night: "Thank you, St. Josemaría!"
Faced with illness, God helped this mother to open up and say: "Jesus, whatever you 'want,' I love!" (The Way, 773).
A friendship born out of prose and poetry
Desmond and Eric share a common interest in poetry and writing. What started out as a mere professional dealing has blossomed into a trusting and beautiful friendship.

Saint Joseph, Jesus' foster father
"I pray that no one feel deprived of the bond of paternal love." In his 5 January general audience, Pope Francis continued his catechesis on Saint Joseph, Jesus' foster father.
God's Way of Reasoning
A meditation given by Saint Josemaria in Rome on 6 January 1970, feast of the Epiphany.
What is a Spiritual Retreat?
A spiritual retreat is an important break, a few days spent in prayer alone with God. It is the spiritual equivalent of an annual car inspection or medical check-up: time in the presence of God, examining our Christian lives to try to see where we're at and how we can to improve our relationships with God and others.
