To commemorate the centenary of St. Josemaría's ordination, a video on his priestly vocation was shown in Zaragoza and Rome. It includes fragments of get togethers in which he shared advice with priests, inspiring them to live a holy and fruitful ministry.

In this short video, St. Josemaría speaks about St. Joseph, our Lord's father and our Lady's husband. "He taught Jesus so many things and protected him when he was a child... How many trials our Lord sent him, and how gently he carried them out!"

In this video, St. Josemaría encourages us to live for love every day: “Don’t be ashamed to be a poor, flawed vessel. We will fight all our lives to correct our flaws, right to the end... This is love.”

The Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God is celebrated on 1 January and commemorates the dogma of Mary's divine Maternity. This homily by St. Josemaría, published in "Friends of God," was given on 11 October 1964, then the feast of the Motherhood of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

A university lecturer asks St Josemaria about the role of priests in today's world. This was in the setting of a gathering in Brazil, June 1, 1974, when St Josemaria was in the fiftieth year of his own priesthood.

On 31 May, the Church celebrates the feast of our Lady visiting her cousin Elizabeth. "Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb! And how have I deserved that the mother of my Lord should come to me?" (Lk 1:42)
