Masses for Feast of Saint Josemaría

June 26th, the anniversary of Saint Josemaría's death in 1975, is now his feast day. Masses will be celebrated in many cities around the U.S.

Archbishop Jose H. Gomez of San Antonio, Archbishop Charles Chaput of Denver, and Archbishop George H. Niederauer of San Francisco will be the principal celebrants of the Masses in their respective cities.

Other bishops celebrating commemorative Masses for Saint Josemaría this year include Frank J. Dewane, Bishop of Venice, Florida; Robert W. Finn, Bishop of Kansas City – St. Joseph, Missouri; David A. Zubik, Bishop of Pittsburgh; John A. Dooher, Auxiliary Bishop of Boston; Felipe J. Estevez, Auxiliary Bishop of Miami; Barry Knestout, Auxiliary Bishop of Washington; John R. Manz, Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago; and Joseph Sartoris, retired Auxiliary Bishop of Los Angeles.
