On Monday 13 July, a reliquary of Blessed Guadalupe Ortiz de Landázuri was installed in the oratory of the Dormition, in the prelatic church of Our Lady of Peace in Rome, where the sacred remains of the founder of Opus Dei rest.
On July 2, the closing ceremony for the diocesan phase of the beatification cause for Toni Zweifel took place in Zurich, Switzerland. Toni, an engineer who died with a reputation for holiness in 1989, summed up his life in this way: “My life has been a love story.”
Blessed Alvaro liked to “visit” Mary by praying the rosary while walking or traveling to a specific Marian shrine or even simpler places with her image. During the years he lived in Rome, he discovered many lesser-known sanctuaries of popular devotion around the city.
