Blessed Alvaro del Portillo

He succeeded Saint Josemaria at the head of Opus Dei. His ardent desire to win souls for Christ is reflected in his episcopal motto: "Regnare Christum volumus!" He was beatified on 27 September 2014. His feast day is celebrated on the 12th of May.
