Some sixty people from a wide range of professions participated in a symposium organized by Warrane College to mark the first centenary of the founder of Opus Dei, Blessed Josemaría Escrivá.

Each year a group of Irish students organizes a work camp to help needy people in St. Petersburg by refurbishing their dwellings. The work camp has also included students from Finland, the U.S., Lithuania, and Latvia. Joe Flanagan relates his memories of the camp.

Pope Recognizes Miracle Attributed to Blessed Escriva

On June 29, about 800 persons gathered near Chicago for a Centennial Conference on “The Vision of Blessed Josemaría Escrivá for a Christian Life Lived to the Full.”

From April 6 to 27, during four consecutive Saturday sessions attended by 150 students and young professionals, Tangwa University Center in Kinshasa hosted meetings about Blessed Josemaria Escriva and his message, especially with regard to social initiatives for the advancement of women.
