Some sixty people from a wide range of professions participated in a symposium organized by Warrane College to mark the first centenary of the founder of Opus Dei, Blessed Josemaría Escrivá.

Each year a group of Irish students organizes a work camp to help needy people in St. Petersburg by refurbishing their dwellings. The work camp has also included students from Finland, the U.S., Lithuania, and Latvia. Joe Flanagan relates his memories of the camp.

Masses in Honor of the Centennial of Blessed Josemaria Escriva's Birth Were Celebrated in Cities All Around the World in the Past Two Weeks

From April 6 to 27, during four consecutive Saturday sessions attended by 150 students and young professionals, Tangwa University Center in Kinshasa hosted meetings about Blessed Josemaria Escriva and his message, especially with regard to social initiatives for the advancement of women.

The Congress Hall of Brussels was the scene of a study conference on the life and message of the founder of Opus Dei held on April 20. Among the speakers were the writer François Gondrand and Bishop André-Mutien Léonard of Namur.

The doctors of the Consultation committee have unanimously concluded that the cure indeed was scientifically inexplicable. There has never been a documented case of a cure of radiodermatitis.
