Dear Dora, Many Thanks!

As a custom, I usually check the Opus Dei website to see if there is any new material I can pray with, or any piece of news to keep me informed. One day I read the news that the Prelate of Opus Dei was asking for testimonies of favors received through the intercession of Dora del Hoyo. I had no idea who Dora del Hoyo even was.

One day, I read the news that the Prelate of Opus Dei was asking for testimonies from those who have received favors through the intercession of Dora del Hoyo. I had no idea who Dora del Hoyo even was.

I started to read about her and I loved learning about who she was and everything she did. Days before, my wife had called me to say that she couldn't pick up our daughter from a friend's house because she couldn't find the car keys. One set of keys had already been lost, which meant that we had no extra keys on reserve this time. We spent the whole weekend searching everywhere for the car keys, passing through all the places where my wife had been the day before.

My hope was that on Monday, the person who helps us care for our home would somehow find the keys. On Monday afternoon, I decided to solve the problem by just having a new set of keys made. But the car was locked and at my house, so I had to call a tow truck to take it to the shop. The first quote service was going to cost between $300.00 to $800.00. I could not believe how expensive it was. I tried to find another supplier for another key. I found a phone number, but no one ever answered my call.

Since we still had not find the key and the second supplier would not answer me, on I was determined to solve the problem on Tuesday by calling the tow truck because, after all, the car was unusable at this point.

That day was the same day that I discovered the prayer of private devotion to Dora del Hoyo. On Wednesday, before hiring any tow tuck, the person who helps us at home happened to find the key in the bottom of a drawer.

Thank you very much, dear Dora.
