Thanksgiving Masses Homilies

29 Thanksgiving Masses in basilicas and churches around Rome between October 7 and 10 gave canonization participants an opportunity to thank God for the gift of the canonization of St. Josemaría. Some of the homilies of the cardinals and bishops who presided at these Masses can be found in the Canonization section.

Press clippings and other news

The Press Office section features articles published on the occasion of the canonization in the media of various countries. These include, among others, articles published in the special October 6 supplement of L'Osservatore Romano. The News section offers information on videos and photographic books about the canonization that are available for sale in various countries.

Memories and reflections about the canonization

In the Personal Accounts section, website visitors can send in their memories and reflections about the October 6 ceremony or about devotion to St. Josemaría. A little while ago Elizabeth wrote in from Mexico. She had not had enough money to go to the canonization, but somehow was able to get to St. Peter's Square: "I don't know how it happened," she recounted. "OK, I do know, it was thanks to God, through the intercession of St. Josemaría."
