In his prayer intention video for the month of June 2018, Pope Francis asks us to pray for social networks. He asks that instead of dividing, they can work toward “that inclusiveness which respects others for their differences.”

He says that while “the Internet is a gift from God, it is also a great responsibility.” It widens the opportunities for so many and offers “immense possibilities for encounter and solidarity.” Yet, it can also be a place of alienation.

Thus, Pope Francis prays that it “may be a concrete place, a place rich in humanity, that works toward inclusiveness “which respects others for their differences.”
