Ulf and Birgitta have recently embraced the Catholic faith. Last April they met Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz in Stockholm, during the Prelate’s pastoral visit to Sweden.

From May 31st to June 3rd, Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz made a pastoral visit to Sicily. In Palermo, he greeted members of Opus Dei and their friends.

"Prayer is the most powerful weapon we have for building up the Church,” Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz said during his four-day pastoral visit to Stockholm, where he greeted Cardinal Arborelius and met with faithful and friends of the Prelature.

Last December, the Prelate of Opus Dei spent three days in London. This 27-minute video includes some of the things he said to his sons and daughters in Britain, as well as the various apostolic initiatives he was able to visit or hear about.

Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz has returned to Rome, after two weeks in Brazil during which he had the opportunity to get to know and speak with many people in the Prelature and their friends, in São Paulo and Río de Janeiro.

During a two day visit to the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz took part in an academic act honoring the former chancellor Bishop Javier Echevarría, and had a get-together with over 3,000 people in the University's sports complex.

This requires firm convictions and a good knowledge of one’s faith.

On August 26th, Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz arrived in Marseille, France, for a two day pastoral visit.

From August 1-5, the Prelate of Opus Dei, Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz, made a brief pastoral visit to France, where he had the opportunity to be with many faithful and friends of the Prelature.
